Hello Lovely

Daisies, Sunflowers, Bees, Yellow this is a bright and cheerful card and was so fun to create.

Cutting/Stamping & Prepping:

1. Stamp the sunflower image and two of the bees on to the Whip Cream Cardstock using Black Licorice Ink. Ink up the longer brush stroke image with Lemon Drop and stamp on top of the flowers and the bees and then re-ink with sweet pear and stamp on top of the leaves to give color to your stamped images. (I did not use sweet pear on my flower leaves)
2. Fussy cut the flower and the bees
3. Stamp Hello Lovely greeting onto the small Journey Circle using Black Licorice Ink
4. Using the longest Brush Stroke image stamp the Whip Cream panel three times using Sweet Pear and Lemon Drop
5. Now lets add some silk, Flick Gold and Silver Silk over this panel

Assembly:

1. Adhere the Whip Cream panel to the Black and White Striped Patterned Paper, pop this layer up on the Whip Cream card bas
2. Take a long piece of Journey Thread, wrap it in a loos e loop and place it on top of the stamped card base panel. I ran a couple of strips of easy glide adhesive to where I would place my Journey Thread and circle over the adhesive.
3. Pop up the pierced circle with Journey Foam Squares then add the sunflower and pop up that image and attach it to the pierced circle.
4. Pop up the stamped circle on the bottom right of the card and pop up the bees using foam squares (When in doubt, pop it out!)
5. Add the mini candy dots, Journey glaze the center of the flower then add the sparkle cuts.

This is such a sweet fun card perfect for Anniversaries and those sweet Just Because Moments!

I love the image of the squirrels, on the tree branch and how just off-setting everything on the 

card gives it that little bit of whimsy.

To achieve the shadow look, we first stamped the image in Cookie Oatmeal then stamped the image a second time slightly offset using Hazelnut Blend ink.
The Sentiment was also stamped in Hazelnut below the image, and you could choose to sponge the edges of the the image in hazelnut or leave them crisp and clean.

This was such a Fun & Cute treat box to create. 

Unfortunately in the photos my Pom Pom I created is covering the sentiment. 

Even with the bling i can see this as a masculine gift box, maybe darker blue instead of the cool pool.

Sea Friends Cards

Today we are having fun with the creatures of the sea! Check out these three adorable cards! These cards feature the stamp set Sea Friends and its coordinating die set. Same stamp set 3 totally different looks!

The Crabby Smile card has a dreamy under the sea look. We used our new Fusion Blender with our Re-inkers to get the water color effect. The little bubbles are made with Journey Glaze. The smile is stamped with our special embossing ink and embossing powder in Whip Cream to make it really pop!




Our new Clearview sheets make it so much fun to create a shaker card! We filled it with our Blue Skies Sequins and then finished it with a Sweet Pear satin ribbon, tapped some Silver Silk and added some coordinating Beach Breeze Candy Minis!



White space is your friend and this card proves it. Combine different textures and materials to make your focal point stand out! Materials used: Journey Thread in Lemon Grass, Blue Skies Sequins, Cool Pool Silk, Graduated Dots Background stamp.

Remembering Delivery Day!

Looking back at how my Fun Stampers Journey Adventure Began!

Woohoo! Delivery Day! Can you believe it? Look at all of these packages!

I was so excited to get into those boxes, and because they were so well packed, it took a bit of effort.  But I can assure you that the wait was well worth it.

The smallest box was packed with business materials.  There are 10 beautiful, full colored catalogs, lots of order forms and other paper products.

The middle box contained a Journey Die Cutting Machine, which is equivalent to the Spellbinder Grand Caliber Die Cutting Machine.  The plates are included and the machine is a nice grey color.  This is a fantastic machine, as it cuts larger dies than most of the die cutting machines available.

The larger box was filled with goodies.  It contained a nicely made, blue rolling tote bag, with numerous zippered pockets.  Inside there was a matching shoulder bag which would nicely hold the business materials.  There is the Journey logo on both bags.  I next discovered 3 full stamp sets, two of which were birthday and banner themed, and one was a set of greetings.  Another discovery was a die cut to match the banner stamp.  Included was an ATS stamp, which is an artist trading card size.  I will be getting a lot of those as the size is so versatile for many things.  My next discovery was 25 sheets of various colors of card stock, as well as 25 sheets each of their black licorice  and whipped cream card stock.  I looked a little further and found some smaller goodies;  Journey Glaze, stamp cleaner, sparkle dust,  white line tape, and four colors of ink.  Wow.  this is such a generous kit, and I am over the moon thrilled with it.

ATC Shaker Cards

Here is my first attempt at a Shaker ATC Card, and I was just unhappy..

So I went back to stamping 12 more mermaids and coloring them.

This time, I was happier with the colors chosen.

Please ignore my coloring as I am not as skilled at blending/coloring as the majority of 

other crafters out there. 

I had to stamp 12 because I am participating in a SWAP

This is my first ever SHAKER anything, I was always intimidated by shaker cards, until the FUSE tool. Now WOW! Love this option.
