Convention Time - Recap

Wow! Wow! Wow! I had such an amazing time at the Fun Stampers Journey convention in Phoenix, that I just have to share a few of the highlights. (Also please note this is my first EVER convention attended ever) **Picture Heavy Post, you have been warned**

The event was held at a beautiful Hilton resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. This was such an amazingly beautiful place, being from California originally but currently living in Florida it really made me miss home and realize how much I missed this beautiful scenery, not the heat or humidity but the beautiful views.

 Our first event was to visit the Journey Station.  Richard describes it as the place where AMAZING happens, and it certainly appears to be true.  The facility is beautiful and well staged to encourage inspiration and creativity.  There were several clues scattered around the rooms to hint at things we would find when the new catalogue premiered the next day.  

The staff was wonderful and presented each of us with a goodie box, with some delicious treats.

Later that day, we finalized our registration and received our Goodie Bags.  Wow.  They were beautiful blue bags with zipper matching bags inside.  And Wow again, as they were stuffed full of new stamp sets, card kits and more.  Such a generous gifting of supplies and feeling very grateful.

The next day the excitement had mounted as we prepared to begin the convention.  There was music, dancing and more as we waited for the President, Richard Garay to enter. As new to the Fun Stampers Journey as I am and to conventions it was very interesting t see everything from the introverted person such as myself perspective. I mean I felt like I was waiting for a rock-star! To hear his story, the story of his family all that they went through and what it took to start Fun Stampers Journey was just inspiring and it made a connection with me and I thank him for sharing their story. I knew then that I had chosen a wonderful company to be a part of.

We had the privilege of viewing new products, and watching so many helpful demos.

Finally it was time to release the new catalogue.  There were no disappointments, as the offerings are way above expectations.  We have so many gorgeous new stamp sets, an awesome new punch system, so many embellishments and more.  The new  items will be released in waves approximately every two weeks this summer.  You may view the new catalogue at  www.funstampersjourney.com/getinky

 There were some very fun contests between Journey Crew members and we did our best to cheer for our team.

We enjoyed a delicious banquet dinner where we learned what others had accomplished this past year with FSJ.  The food was top notch, and the program inspiring.  I stood in line to have my picture taken with Richard and Gaby, I had seen them many times throughout convention but I did not want to intrude on their personal time.

I had such a wonderful time meeting new people and hearing the passion and stories that everyone has for Fun Stampers Journey and Richard Garay and his family. It was also VERY nice to meet my 2^nd downline team member Sharon! Hi Sharon!

I am looking forward to next year, watching how Fun Stampers Journey grows, and to see the lovely people I met this year at Convention 2016!
