Twisted Friends

Trying new foods, getting on a bike for the first time in years, parasailing, adventure is out there!  For many of us crafters, we get stuck in creative rut and seem to keep going back to our old favs. We want to encourage you to try being adventurous in your crafting! Try a new technique or new tool, a new color combination, or something you saw on Pinterest that you’ve always wanted to give a shot.  What’s holding you back?

Today’s cards are filled techniques that maybe you’ve never tried, but we promise they are easy enough for you to recreate.  These cars use the new FSJ coloring and blending brushes, embossing folders, coordinating dies and some 3-D elements.

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Twisted Friends
Paper: Whip Cream Cardstock, Beach Breeze Cardstock, Journey Basics Paper Pack
Dies: Snapshot Die, Twisted Friends Coordinating Die
Inks: Black Licorice Ink page, Whip Cream Ink Pad, Summer Days Re-Inker, CitrusCool Re-Inker, Limeade Splash Re-Inker
Other: Whip Cream Journey Thread, Wiggly Eyes, Fusion Blender, Blending Brush, Above the Clouds Embossing Folder

Stamp and color your images using your re-inkers, Fusion Blender, and Blending Brush. Learn how to use our coloring system here.  Use a very light touch to get the shading and highlight so your Twisted Friends have lots of dimension.

After you embossing your clouds take your Whip Cream ink and lightly kiss the surface to add color to the raised images.

Happy Stamping!
